AACI E-Book Library Now Includes Harper Collins Titles

AACI members have free access to thousands of books through the Sharon Woodrow Memorial E-Book Library. Open to members of the organization, the library is the first English-language virtual library in Israel and one of the first e-book libraries in any language in the country.

AACI expressed thanks to the family of Sharon Woodrow, particularly her sister, Diane Romm, for approaching AACI with the idea for the library.

Library

Safed Edyth Geiger Memorial English Library.
38 Jerusalem Street.
Open: Sundays,  10:00 - 11:30, Mondays, 19:00 - 21:00
           Tuesdays, 14:00 - 16:30. Fridays,    09:00 - 11:30.

Located on the main street of the ancient mountaintop city of Safed in northern Israel is a treasure known to a constantly growing number of Israelis and foreigners alike. What common interest draws some 500 English speakers up the mountain?  Simply a love of books, and the opportunity to find them at the Safed English Library. The attractive new street entrance makes the library more convenient, allowing the disabled easy access to the two upper rooms.

The Stamp Club meets at the library on the first Friday of every month, at 12:45.
