In 1986 the Continuing Education Committee launched a series of unique educational experiences for English speaking Israelis that have enriched and stimulated over 3000 members throughout the AACI regions.  The short-term, three or four days, intensive study vacations with accommodation at kibbutz quest houses, hotels, universities, etc.  Usually five such programs take place annually.

Our participants range from new olim to those who have been in the country since the 1930's.on a variety of themes attract men and women from ages 55-95.

To date, there have been 121 programs on topics, such as archaeology, history, sociology, geography, the humanities, the arts, the desert, Jewish/Arab relations, and the kibbutz, all led by expert guides, university lecturers and educators.

In the past two years we have studied at Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh in the Negev, Kibbutz Kfar Giladi in Upper Galilee, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Kibbutz Ketura near Eilat, Nahariya, Upper Nazareth, Kibbutz Nachsholim, and more.

Publicity on these programs are published in all the regional bulletins as well as the Seniors Spectator and in the AACI Electronic Newsletter (Click here to Subscribe to newsletter).

The study vacation program is open to all English-speakers, including tourists.
